Hi there, my name is Minnie! I got my name because I was the smallest of all the puppies… but just barely…and from the time I was one day old I’ve had a super sweet disposition! As you can see by my sweet hound dog face, I am a heartbreaker! I am absolutely the sweetest little girl and I love my snuggles and kisses. I love to smell your breath so I know who you are. Mama T says I am doing very well in my potty training, and I’m learning that going outside does not just mean to play… I’m supposed to go potty while I’m out there too! I have stopped biting feet and hands, but I will need constant reminders not to do so because I have very sharp puppy teeth! I am happy to play with my brothers and sisters but I’m also happy to play by myself.
So if you already have another dog, I would love to have a big brother or sister; if I’m going to be your only special child, your one and only, I’m very happy to do that too! However, I’m used to lots of crazy loud activities, including kitties, dogs, and parrots, so I might be a little bit lonely. You may have to buy me some stuffed animals so I have some friends. I like to sleep in the crate but I could probably use a puppy pen for a little while until I learn to go outside and go potty. I am definitely one of the best at potty training and I am trained to puppy pads, but like all puppies who are my age I still have accidents. I have learned how to use the dog door, and I do run outside to go potty when we’re not contained in the puppy pen!
Unfortunately, when I was 10 weeks and two days old I got a Cherry Eye. Mama T was so sad and rushed to get me eyedrops that would hopefully help. And then two days later, I developed it in my other eye. Unfortunately, due to the shape of my head it appears I will have to have surgery on my eyes when I get older. That made Mama T cry because she loves me very much and doesn’t want me to have any problems! I will need to go to a very special family who will love me unconditionally and take special care of my eyes until I’m old enough to have them fixed. I would really like to stay somewhere near Seattle if possible and then Mama T will help my new family pay for the eye appointments and surgery when I get older. She wants me to go to a special place that will take excellent care of me and my eyes (Northwest Animal Eye Specialists, northwestanimaleye.com) and if my new family is willing to take me there, she will keep $1000 in a special savings account and she will help you pay for my surgery. This will be paid directly to the doctor just to ensure my terrific care!
